New to CANVAS KIDS? We've Got You Covered
First Time Visitor
At Canvas Church Naugatuck (CCNaugy) we value your family! Our kids ministry offers an age appropriate, gospel focused hands-on learning experience. Each classroom and curriculum provides biblical, relevant and engaging material to help your child develop a Christ centered foundation. All of of kids ministry staff and volunteers have been well trained and are all background checked through Ministry Safe. Most importantly they all share a desire to bring the love of Jesus to your kids!
Register Your Child for a Visit
Each Sunday morning, look for the Kid’s Check-In Station in the back right of the sanctuary. Here you will check your child into the appropriate classroom and receive a name and pick-up tag. If it is your first week, a CCNaugy Kids team member will answer any questions and show you around our classrooms. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the service each week. To save time, you can register your child with the link below.
Kids will be dismissed to classrooms after the worship and prayer time concludes and be picked up at the conclusion of the service
OUR CLASS ROOMS
This classroom is designed for our little ones and their moms! In this space there are plenty of toys, a changing table, rocking chair and a soft climbing gym. The service can also be live-streamed in this space.
Nursery (ages 0-1)
In this class children get to explore Bible stories through short age appropriate lessons, crafts, themed materials and sensory play!
Toddlers (1s & 2s)
This classroom provides a fun and engaging space that allows your little one to explore and learn through play, hands-on activities, games, music, and art. The classroom is often decorated to match the theme of a particular unit. Here your child will have fun while learning more about Jesus!
Preschool/K (ages 3-6)
Our elementary classroom provides a bold and fun experience for grades 1-6! The classroom features a prayer request wall, a video projection system (aka movie theatre), LED lights and bean bag chairs! This environment provides a comfortable yet engaging experience to help kids learn foundational biblical truths! In the near future this class will be splitting into lower and upper elementary
