Sermon Recap and Timeless Truth

The timeless truth from this week’s sermon was that Resisting The Work Of God In Our Lives Is The Most Costliest Choice We Could Ever Make

Key Verse

Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.”
Acts 7:60 (NIV)

Canvas Kids Recap

Catch up on all the fun and learning from our Children's Ministry

Elementary: Super Moses Bros

In this new series kids will learn the story of brothers Moses and Aaron and how together God used them to save God’s people!

Lesson One: This week we focused on God bringing people alongside us to serve God together.

Most kids know the story of God speaking to Moses through the burning bush. But do they know that at the same time, God was speaking to Aaron, letting him know that it was time to work with his brother to save God's people?

Memory Verse: Exodus 7:6

"Moses and Aaron did exactly as the Lord had commanded them."

Preschool & Toddlers: On The Go

In this new Preschool/K curriculum we learn that God has different names that remind us who He is and what He is like.

Lesson One: This week the kids explored the Creation story where they learned one of Jesus’ names as Lord. The kids learned that God has always been and will always be in charge of the world and the people He made. That’s why we call Him “Lord.”

The kids will travel the globe in this six-week series and discover different names for God and how we can know Him in these different ways!

Memory Verse: Psalm 9:10

"Those who know Your name trust in You"

Youth

Truth and Love: Marquise Cox

Recap: This week they began a new Right Now Media series, Truth and Love by Marquise Cox.

The youth opened up about hard topics and how to navigate them as Christians. They played a lighthearted version of truth or dare and then broke out into groups to play "Say it Better" where they had to find a way to say a truth in love. For example: Someone copied your work...

❌ “Stop cheating off me. That’s so annoying.”

✅ “I’m not comfortable with copying—could I help you understand it instead?”
