God continues to move powerfully across Connecticut as FCA’s campus ministry expands. Today we had the opportunity to visit one of our missionaries, Samara Barbosa, here in the state of Paraíba, Brazil, alongside Pastor Renato. Pastor Renato brought two volunteer hairdressers who provided haircuts for nearly 40 children in this underserved community. It was a wonderful opportunity to serve these families in a practical way while sharing Christ's love with them. We are grateful for everyone who made this special day possible!

Good morning, brothers and sisters of Canvas Church! Here, we are sharing a little about the work of the Calvary Bible School in Peru 🇵🇪, which was in Brazil 🇧🇷 last week—together with Pastor Renato—to put into practice what they learned at the Bible school. Here, they were in the city of Vitória de Santo Antão, in the state of Pernambuco, in the Northeast region of the country.

This week at Monday nights, we started a new sermon series on the Holy Spirit. I was helping with Monday night kids, and they were learning how to share the Gospel without words. They had a little booklet made of construction paper with different colors, and each color represented a part of the Gospel. God placed missions on my heart as early as I can remember and I am both blessed and excited to be able to step into that this summer as I travel to Costa Rica this July with the youth group from Grace Family Church in Newtown, CT. We will be working alongside local partners, Moving Hopes in the Central Valley of Costa Rica, as we work construction on a local school and provide Vacation Bible Camps in three different towns.
