Sermon Recap and Timeless Truth

The timeless truth from this week’s sermon was All Believers Are Needed For The Work Of God’s Kingdom To Advance Here On Earth As It Is In Heaven

Key Verse

"All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord."
"This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord."

Acts 9:35,42 (NIV)

Canvas Kids Recap

Catch up on all the fun and learning from our Children's Ministry

Elementary: Super Moses Bros

Bible Story: Moses, Aaron, and Hur

Bible Verses: Exodus 17:8-16

Need to Know: The Amazing Adventure of Aaron and His Little Brother

Lesson: In this week’s adventure we explore the story of Moses, Aaron and Hur. When Joshua fought against the Amalekites, Moses and Aaron figured out the cheat code: As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning the battle. In order to help Moses, Aaron and Hur kept Moses' hands in the air. Moses, Aaron and Hur had to work together to win the battle. God never calls any of us to serve Him all by ourselves all of the time. He sends helpers and supporters to assist us in doing what God wants us to do. We learned that sometimes God calls us to be a helper for someone else, and that’s a great and exciting place to be!

Memory Verse: Psalm 135:19

"People of Israel, praise the Lord. Priests of Aaron, praise the Lord."

Preschool & Toddlers: On The Go

Bible Story: Daniel and the Lions

Bible Verses: Daniel 1:1-4, 6:1-28

Need to Know:

God is My Defender

Lesson: God has different names that remind us of who He is, and this week we learned about God as a Defender. In the Bible story, we learned about Daniel. Daniel stayed faithful to God and refused to pray to the king. Even though the king was angry, God protected Daniel from the lions. The king was amazed and joyful, and he told everyone to honor God because He is a powerful Defender who protects His people. The story teaches that God is always with us and cares for us.

Memory Verse: Psalm 9:10

"Those who know Your name trust in You"
