Need to Know: God wants us to listen and obey His Word


Lesson: It might get lonely for a cowboy in the Old West, just him and his horse. He might even

start talking to his horse! In our Bible story we learned about Balaam who traveled by donkey, but this donkey started talking to him. And what he said showed Balaam that he had been disobedient and gone his own way! The class learned how God wants us to follow and obey Him! 


Memory Verse: “The grass dries up. The flowers fall to the ground. But what our God says will stand forever.” Isaiah 40:8

Need to Know: God’s Word helps me!


Bible Story: In today’s lesson, the kids learned that the Bible is God’s Word that He wrote to help us every day! Jesus’ story helps us know how much God loves us and wants to be our friend. And it helps us know how to live like Jesus by loving God and loving others! 


Memory Verse: “Your Word to me, Your servant, is like pure gold; I treasure what You say." Psalm 119:140
