Key Verse
“ Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.”
Acts 16:26 (NIV)
Canvas Kids Recap
Catch up on all the fun and learning from our Children's Ministry
We had a great turnout for our Back to School Sunday! Many parents, families and kids stopped by for some amazing resources and all of our student prayer bracelets were handed out! We are so excited to cover all of our students in prayer this week! We will see you next Sunday for Canvas on the Green!
Elementary: Wild West Faith
Bible Story: Gideon Defeats the Midianites
Bible Verses: Judges 7:1-22
Need to Know: God wants us to follow Him!
Lesson: It was our final week in the Wild Wild West! In the Old West, when a criminal was on the loose, the sheriff would round up a posse of the strongest and bravest men to go after him. When Gideon went up against the Midianites, God gave him some strange instructions on who would be in his posse. When the small band of 300 Israelites defeated the Midianites, it displayed God’s power for all to see!!! Our class ended the lesson with a lasso game to test their skills! All of the kids took turns lassoing the horse. We saw through the game that the more we practice these skills, the more successful we become! The more we commit to following God, the more successful we become at doing His will.
Memory Verse:
The grass dries up. The flowers fall to the ground. But what our God says will stand forever. Isaiah 40:8

Pre-K & Toddler: Better Than Gold
Bible Story: John Sees the Future
Bible Verses: Revelation 1, 20:8, 21:1-22:21
Need to Know: God’s Word Has Power
Lesson: It is hard to believe that this was our last summer lesson in our curriculum Better than Gold!
This summer has been an adventure in discovering how God’s Word, the Bible, is one big story of God’s love for His people. The kids got to see that the Bible is a treasure that’s Better Than Gold! In today’s lesson, we saw how Adam and Eve’s disobedience brought sin into the world and hurt our relationship with God. But the good news is that God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins, die on the cross, and rise again three days later! We also learned that Jesus will come back one day and bring everyone who believes in Him to heaven—a perfect place with no crying, sickness, or death. Through God’s Word, we can see His amazing love, forgiveness, and plan for us to live with Him forever!
Memory Verse:
Your Word to me, Your servant, is like pure gold; I treasure what You say. Psalm 119:140
