Sermon Recap and Timeless Truth

The timeless truth from this week’s sermon was to Submit, Surrender, And Embrace The Sanctifying Work Of The Spirit In Your Life

Key Verse

"Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went."
Acts 8:4 (NIV)

Canvas Kids Recap

Catch up on all the fun and learning from our Children's Ministry

Elementary: Super Moses Bros

Need to Know: God will use me to serve Him.

Bible Story: Aaron Speaks for Moses

Bible Verses: Exodus 6:28-7:6

Lesson: Moses had the message, but Aaron had the words. God used the Moses Bros working together to get God's message of salvation to Pharaoh and to God's people!

After the Bible story, the kids all took turns being Moses and Aaron going through an obstacle course to get to Pharaoh to ask him to Let God’s People Go. We had a blast!

Memory Verse: Exodus 7:6

"Moses and Aaron did exactly as the Lord had commanded them."

Preschool & Toddlers: On The Go

Need to Know: God will use me to serve Him.

Bible Story: David

Bible Verses: Psalm 23

Bible Verses: Exodus 6:28-7:6

Lesson : Today the class learned that one of the names for God is Shepherd. When we spend time getting to know more about God, we can trust and follow Him every day. We saw how David wrote a song to show us how God is our Shepard. In David’s song, he wrote, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. You are with me. Your shepherd’s rod and staff comfort me.” David knew that God was with him, even when David felt really alone or scared. He knew that God would take care of him, just like a shepherd takes care of his sheep. The class made some cute sheep to remind us of the lesson.

Memory Verse: Psalm 9:10

"Those who know Your name trust in You"
