Acts 8:35 (NIV)
Canvas Kids Recap
Catch up on all the fun and learning from our Children's Ministry
Elementary: Super Moses Bros
Need to Know: God can work miracles when we serve Him.
Bible Story: Aaron's Staff Becomes a Snake
Bible Verses: Exodus 7:8-13
Lesson: In video games, a charge jump builds up power that the player can then release for a higher jump or a stronger punch. When Aaron and Moses spoke to Pharaoh, God showed his power by transforming Aaron's staff into a snake, which was the first of many miracles He would demonstrate.
The kids learned that God's miracles are a charge jump for our lives. The class did another obstacle course this week only this time they had to imitate the snake that Aarons staff became. It was a challenge to complete the course all on their bellies! It was a blast!
Memory Verse: Exodus 7:6
"Moses and Aaron did exactly as the Lord had commanded them."

Preschool & Toddlers: On The Go
Need to Know: God is My Healer.
Bible Story: Jesus Heals a Paralyzed Man
Bible Verses: Luke 5:17-26
Lesson: Today the class learned that one of the names for God is Healer. God heals all kinds of hurt. In our Bible story we saw how Jesus healed a paralyzed man. God healed the man so that he could walk, but God also healed his heart when Jesus forgave him for all the wrong things he had done. The class learned that God is our Healer too! The kids made their own God Heals Kits as a reminder of how God cares for us when we get hurt or aren’t feeling well.
Memory Verse: Psalm 9:10
"Those who know Your name trust in You"

Youth: Fun & Fellowship Week
Truth & Love: Session Two - Is Christianity True?
Recap: The youth opened class with an icebreaker game and then jumped right into session two from their current Right Now Media series, Truth & Love. The session focused on learning about hypocrisy and how to apply REAL as they spend time with God: Read, Evaluate, Acknowledge God, Live it out.
Memory Verse: Psalm 9:10
"Those who know Your name trust in You"
